Two men have been sentenced at Sligo Circuit Court to more than eight years imprisonment as a result of two serious burglaries that occurred in Sligo town in August of last year.
Both men were on release from prison at the time and were arrested by Sligo Gardaí later on the day of the burglaries.
Gardai have thanked the members of the public and local business people who helped with the investigation.
