Two men are to appear before Sligo District Court this evening charged in connection to a robbery.
On Thursday last at around 12 noon, two men wearing balaclavas and wielding a hammer and a knife entered a business at Deepwater Quay in Sligo where they threatened staff and left with a sum of money, no one was injured in the incident.
Sligo Gardaí arrested two men, aged 19 and 24, and detained them under Section 4 of the Criminal justice Act at Ballymote Garda Station.
A car was also searched where items from the robbery were found

Both will appear before a special sitting of Sligo District Court at 7.30pm this evening
