Two beaches in the North West have been ranked as some of the best in Ireland.
Enniscrone in Sligo was placed 9th and Rossnowlagh in Donegal was placed 10th in the Irish Independent Reader Travel Awards 2024.

Enniscrone was praised for its three miles of golden sand along the Wild Atlantic Way while Rossnowlagh has been commended for its surfing, sandcastles, sandwiches, pizza and coffee.
The full results will be revealed in the Irish Independent's Saturday's Weekend magazine.
