Two people arrested after alleged stabbing in Donegal

Two people have been arrested following an alleged stabbing incident in Donegal.

Gardaí have confirmed a man and woman were arrested following an assault which happened at a residence in Ballybofey, at around 9pm last night.

A man in his 30s was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment following the incident.

The man and woman both aged in their 20s are currently detained at a Garda Station in Donegal under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardai say that investigations are ongoing.
