Two people have been arrested following a police chase in County Tyrone.
It's after the vehicle failed to stop for earlier yesterday evening in the Beragh area.
An intercept team and Policing Support Group Officers from Omagh/Enniskillen working together successfully brought the vehicle to a safe controlled stop in the Ballygawley area of Tyrone after a lengthy pursuit by the use of Stinger devices.
On stopping the vehicle it was found to be bearing the registration number of a similar vehicle in order to hide its true identity,
Subsequent checks on the occupants showed the passenger to be wanted by Police in relation to a Domestic related Assault and Criminal damage.
The driver was found to be currently serving a period of Disqualification.
The Driver arrested for Driving whilst Disqualified, No Insurance, Fraudulent use of a vehicle registration mark, Failing to stop for Police and dangerous driving - they are also currently out on Licence from Prison.
The passenger was arrested in relation to Criminal damage and Common Assault.
