Two Sligo farmers among the finalists for the 2024 FBD Young Farmer of the Year.
The prestigious award is organised annually by Macra na Feirme supported by the IFA and has been sponsored by FBD Insurance its inception.

Sheep farmer Jamie Hannon and Sarah Kelly, who is an equine farmer are among the finalists for the 2024 title with the winners to be announced at a ceremony tonight at the Heritage hotel, Laois.
The previous two winners came from the north west with Enniscrone’s Christopher Tuffy winning in 2022 while Dwayne Shiels, a native of Letterkenny came out on top in 2023.
