Uisce Éireann appeals to customers in South Leitrim to conserve water

Uisce Éireann continues to work to restore normal water supply to customers across South Leitrim with night-time restrictions necessary in some areas.

Customers in Drumshanbo continue to experience water outages due to power failures at Mong Reservoir.

Alternative supplies are available however, in order to ensure a normal daytime supply to as many customers as possible, nighttime restrictions are necessary in the Drumshanbo, Ballinamore, Mohill and Carrigallen areas from 11pm tonight to 7am tomorrow morning.

As a result of the restrictions, customers on the South Leitrim Regional Water Supply Scheme may experience reduced pressure and/or outages.
