UK Protocol plans 'reckless' - MacLochlainn

A Donegal Sinn Fein TD has described the legislation on the Northern Ireland Protocol published by the British government yesterday, as 'reckless'.

The EU's expected to resume legal proceedings over what it sees as previous UK breaches of the Brexit deal.

The European Commission's also warning it'll take "proportionate action" over yesterday's decision to proceed with unilateral action to unpick parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol.

Speaking to Ocean FM news, Donegal Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn called on the UK Government needs to come to its senses:
