An unaccompanied learner driver has been caught speeding in Donegal Town.
The motorist was clocked travelling at 134KPH per hour in a 100KPH speed zone on the N15 in the early hours of this morning.

Gardai also discovered that the unaccompanied learner driver behind the wheel had no insurance.
The NCT on the vehicle had expired in excess of a year and the front tyres were excessively worn.

Gardai say that the vehicle was seized.
