Uncertainty surrounds the future of the Monsoon and Accessorize store in Sligo.
35 stores across Ireland and the UK are set to close including the ones in Dublin, Cork and Kilkenny.
The companies assets were sold to Adena Brands overnight, a company which is controlled by founder of Monsoon and Accessorize, Peter Simon.
At least 545 people are to be made redundant and the company is now aiming to save upwards of 100 stores and 2,300 jobs.
