The road between Boyle and Gurteen in Roscommon has now reopened following an overnight crash.
Emergency services attended the scene of the single vehicle collision at Tinacarra at around 9.10pm last night.

The driver of the vehicle, a man aged in his 50s, was removed from the scene and taken to Sligo University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
