Upgrade works are due to begin at Donegal Community Hospital next month.
It comes as the health watchdog found a number of non-compliances at the facility during a recent inspection.

The hospital was found wanting in relation to fire safety.
It's been confirmed that upgrade works are due to take place in the coming weeks and are set to be completed by years end.
