Upwards of €500,000 to be allocated to Enniscrone and Bundoran in new year

Bundoran in Co. Donegal and Enniscrone in Co. Sligo are to be allocated upwards of €500,000 to help develop the towns as tourism destinations.

The money comes from Failte Ireland's 'Destination Town's Scheme' with a total funding nationally of €15.5m.

The final figure is to be decided in January 2020.

Donegal Sinn Fein Councillor, Michael McMahon, says the residents of Bundoran have 'earned the funding.'.
