Victim of N4 crash to be laid to rest today

The victim of this week's crash on the N4 will be laid to rest today.

Tom Mulhern, who was in his 70s, died following the two-vehicle collision between a car and a jeep on Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Sligo University Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

Mr. Mulhern's Funeral Service gets underway at 11.30am in St. Michael's Church, Cootehall with burial afterwards in Ardcarne Cemetery.

An investigation is continuing into the crash with Gardai appealing for witnesses to come forward.
