Victims of Donegal crash named locally

The two people killed in a collision in Donegal this week have been named locally.

PJ McGettigan and his sister Una, both in their 70s, were killed in the two car collision in Kilmacrennan late on Wednesday night.

A woman in her 40s, the driver of the second car, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for serious injuries.

The crash happened shortly before midnight on Wednesday on the N56.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
