Leitrim farming official shocked by Videos of more horrific dog attacks on sheep

A Leitrim farming official has expressed his disappointment that changes to the legislation around dog control will not be introduced prior to a cabinet reshuffle.

IFA Sheep Chairman Kevin Comiskey has condemned two horrific dog attacks on sheep in recent days have left 70 lambs dead.

He says there had been what seemed like constructive discussions with Minister Humphreys and Minister McConalogue earlier this year but that no action has been taken.
