Voter turnout low so far in North West

Voter turnout for today's referendums has been low so far in the North West.

Polling stations opened at 7am and will remain open until 10pm, to vote on proposed changes to Family and Care definitions in the Constitution.

Returning officers in the region reported slow starts to the day.
