'Wait and see approach' to today's announcement on cost of living measures

A Donegal Sinn Fein TD is taking a wait and see approach as it relates today's Government announcement on cost of living measures.

The Housing Minister has indicated that the proposed package will be 'significant' and is likely to include another double social welfare payment.

However an extra lump-sum to deal with energy costs is not believed to have made the cut.
