Personnel from the Donegal Mountain Rescue team were involved in a rescue mission on Errigal mountain yesterday afternoon.
The rescue was conducted in difficult conditions where visibility was poor.

The rescue operation was launched after a hillwalker injured her leg.
Rescue 118 lowered a winchman who was able to provide treatment on the mountain to the injured woman.

The casualty was then transferred to Sligo University Hospital.
