Warning issued over rogue traders in Sligo

A warning has been issued over rogue traders targeting homeowners in county Sligo.

Residents in north Sligo have previously been urged to be on the alert and now there are further reports of the fraudsters operating in the Ransboro and Riverstown areas.

People are being urged to be on the lookout for a UK registered silver berlingo, which Gardaí say is currently trying to offer tarmac services.

The fraudsters are known to be wearing high visibility jackets and hard hats at some of the houses they approached.
