Warning issued over rogue traders in Sligo town

A warning has been issued over rogue traders targeting homeowners in county Sligo.

Residents in the north of the county have previously been urged to be on the alert and now there are further reports of the fraudsters operating in the Sligo town area.

The fraudsters are said to be going from door to door offering to sell runners, perfumes, carpets etc, driving a white Citroen van.

The public are being urged to not engage with them in any way.
