Warning issued over rogue traders operating in Sligo

Gardai have issued a warning that rogue traders are once again operation in the Sligo area.

Due to the damage caused to homes during Storm Eowyn, it's believed some people are looking to take advantage of the situation.

An Garda Siochana are urging members of the public to show caution, and to not let anyone onto your premises without proper identification.

It's also encouraged to note their details, and to lock the back door.
