Gardai in Donegal are repeating a warning to the public in relation to a recent phone scam where the scammer(s) are using official Garda numbers and impersonating members of An Garda Síochána.
They say a number of people have contacted them in recent days after they received a call that appeared to come from Garda headquarters.
However, the gardai says these are scams.
Their advice: Hang up the phone, don't call the number back and never share personal information with such callers.
