Gardai in the Ballymote area of County Sligo are warning of slippery conditions on the N17 Collooney to Tubbercurry road.
There have been a number of accidents on the road this morning.
A car which went off the road near Achonry will be removed soon and motorists are asked to drive with caution in that area.
Garda Gerry Taheny, of Ballymote Garda Station, says parts of the road are deceptive in that they look safer than they actually are.
