Former Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg has recorded a video message to the people of Ballymote on the 20th anniversary of the Twin Towers attack.
A commemoration is taking place in the town this afternoon remembering those who lost their lives on the 11th of September, 2001.
In the video, Michael Bloomberg said the American people remember how those from 'every background, every country and every faith', came to their aid.
