Water outages affecting areas of Sligo

Water outages have been reported in a number of areas of County Sligo this afternoon.

A burst to the water main is impacting the supply in Ballymote and the surrounding area.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Works are scheduled to take place until 2pm.

Similarly in Sligo town, a burst to the line is affecting the supply on Cairns Road, Pearce Road, and surrounding areas.

Works are scheduled to take place there until 3pm.

Uisce Eireann as always is recommending that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
