Water schemes creating stumbling blocks in south Donegal

People looking to build or refurbish older homes in south Donegal are said to be facing a stumbling block over constraints with water schemes.

The current fund for such schemes is said to be insufficient with many having to drill wells without receiving a grant for the work.

There are also similar issues with septic tanks.

There's concern that some of these projects will never get off the ground with calls on the Government to establish a bigger fund.
