We could be paying more for some food items soon because of the heatwave.
The hot weather this summer led to drought conditons, putting pressure on farmers' crops.
A UK study is now warning it could mean a rise of up to 5 per cent at supermarkets for products like meat, dairy and vegatables.
Kevin Hanrahan from agriculture authority Teagasc says some products will be affected here - but supermarkets will do their best to make sure consumers aren't paying more:
