A weather alert has been issued for the North West.
Met Eireann is warning that winds will be very strong and gusty tomorrow morning in the west at first, progressing eastwards from the afternoon, with particularly strong wind gusts especially around coasts and high ground in the northwest.

The forecaster is advising that power outages and travel disruption are possible.
The yellow alert will be in effect from 5am tomorrow morning until 2am on Friday morning.
