Weather leads to flight disruption at Ireland West Airport

Some flights in and out of Ireland West Airport have been delayed today due to the weather conditions.

The 9.30am flight from Liverpool had to be diverted to Shannon while the 10:20am flight from Tenerife has been diverted to Dublin.

Both outbound flights have been delayed as a result.

In a statement, the airport says that it is currently operating but passengers should check directly with their airline for the most up-to-date information.

They are also advising anyone travelling to or from the airport today to allow extra time for their journey.
