A status yellow rain warning has been extended to all of Connacht, Donegal, Cavan, and Longford.
It comes into effect at ten o'clock tonight with localised flooding possible.

Meanwhile, Met Eireann has also issued a status yellow wind warning for six counties.
Strong and gusty winds are forecast for Dublin, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway, Kerry, Waterford, with that warning also in effect from ten o'clock tonight.
