Met Éireann issue weather warning for North West

A status yellow rain warning has been issued for the North West from tonight.

The warning will apply to Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim and the remainder of Connacht

Munster counties such as Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary, have also been issued the warning by Met Eireann.

Heavy and persistent rain is expected which could lead to flooding and travel disruption.

The alert will run from Midnight and will end at 6am on Wednesday.
