A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Donegal from Wednesday morning.
The warning is valid from 12am on Wednesday until 12am on Thursday.
Persistent and at times, heavy rain is expected.
People are also advised to prepare for localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
