A Status Yellow weather warning for strong winds has been issued for Co. Donegal.
Met Éireann say west to northwest winds will reach speeds of up to 60km/h with gusts of up to 100km/h with winds stronger near coastal areas.
localised wave overtopping is possible, and on high ground.
The warning begins at 11am this morning and remains until 4pm this afternoon.
