A new effort is underway to revitalise the Wine Street Car Park area of Sligo town.
Plans include enhanced retail space, a multi-storey car park and a new public space.
Planners from the county council, together with designers of the proposed scheme, will host an online webinar, open to the public, on the scheme this Thursday evening, (Oct. 22nd) at 7pm.
Frank Moylan, senior planner with Sligo County Council, has been telling Ocean FM about what the aim of the scheme is:

Mr Moylan recalled how previous plans for the area were never fully realised.
