The West coast will be the best place for catching a glimpse of a rare solar eclipse this evening.
The celestial event will be partially visible from Ireland at about 5pm to 8pm tonight.
It'll be the first time an event like this has occurred in Ireland since 1999.
The full spectacle is visible from the US, Canada and Mexico, where some areas will experience almost 5 minutes of darkness as the Sun is fully obscured.
