Wind warning in force until 6 o'clock this evening for Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim

A Status Yellow wind warning is in force for much of the country, including Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim.

Winds of 55 to 65 km/h are forecast with gusts of 90 to 110 km/h, as Storm Diana passes over the country.

The wind warning is valid until until 6 o clock this evening.

However, the south of the country and the west north as far as Galway is expected to get the worst of the storm.
