Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for Sligo and Donegal for this Friday, May 22nd.
Southerly winds veering southwesterly will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 kilometres per hour with gusts of 90 to 110 km/h, especially in coastal areas and on exposed hills and mountains.
The wind warning is valid on Friday from 6am to 9pm.
