Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances around the discovery of a body, in the area of Hughes Bridge, Sligo town, on Thursday 26th December 2024 at approximately 12.40pm.
Gardai have confirmed that a post-mortem examination will take place in due course, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.

Enquiries are ongoing and Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
