A witness in the trial of a woman accused of murdering a man in Co Donegal has told the jury that she told him she “battered” him with a rock, and that she liked it.

Nikita Burns, of Carrick, Co Donegal is on trial for the murder of Robert Wilkin; alongside her co-accused, Alan Vial of Drumanoo, Killybegs.

He thought she was off her head on something.

He said she changed her clothes in his apartment and then repeatedly told him she was a murderer – that she had battered a man with a rock.

Mr Quinn told the jury that Ms Burns told him she liked doing it and he felt she didn’t seem to care too much about it.

During a secretly recorded phone conversation with another witness a few hours later, the jury heard Ms Burns say they pushed him off Sliabh Liag.
