Woman arrested following death of Donegal woman in Scotland

A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a Donegal woman in Scotland.

Ann Coll, who was originally from Gweedore, was found dead in her home in Rutherglen on Friday, 22 December.

The 61 year old was pronounced dead at the scene and police subsequently launched a murder probe.

Police in Scotland have confirmed this morning that officers have arrested a 37-year-old woman in connection with her death.

Police say that "further enquiries are ongoing."
