Woman rescued after being cut off by tide in Donegal

The RNLI had to come to the aid of a woman who got cut off by the tide in Donegal last evening.

The alarm was raised in the Portsalon area shortly before 8pm.

The crew launched their Inshore Lifeboat and quickly made their way to the casualty and removed her from the water.

The Inshore Lifeboat was stood down and the crew made their way to Ned’s Point to refuel and make ready for service.
