Gardaí are investigating an assault on a woman that occurred at approximately 1am yesterday at a residence in Ballyshannon in County Donegal.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to Sligo University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and taken to a Garda station in Donegal.
He has since been charged and is due before Sligo District Court.
