Woodlands Estate in Ballytivnan hit by flooding again

Sligo is again counting the cost of flooding after heavy weekend rain.

Mowlam Nursing Home in Ballytivnan was heavily hit for the second time in recent years.

While the nearby Woodlands Estate was also hit by “severe flooding,” Sligo County Council confirmed.

Cllr Thomas Healy says flood defences are needed in the area, and something needs to be done immediately:
