A badly-damaged road in north Sligo that is used by walkers and by people saving turf on a nearby bog has now been repaired.
€120,000 has been spent on the road, known as Luke's Bridge; it included work on culverts and on the road itself.
The road was almost washed away during the summer after torrential rain.
Local Councillor Marie Casserly praised Sligo County Council and its workers for getting the work done so quickly.
