A Sligo councillor is urging people to take advantage of an expanded scheme aimed at promoting cycling to work.
Independent Councillor Marie Casserly says the €1,000 allowance to promote spending on cycling is being increased to €1,250.
She says it's been a very popular scheme, which encourages an activity that's both healthy and environmentally friendly.
