Workplaces across the north west are being given the opportunity to provide free sessions to employees on financial well-being.
The Money Skills for Life programme is provided by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, which is an independent statutory body that enforces the law in relation to competition and consumer protection.
The commission says personal finances can be a cause of significant stress and anxiety for many employees.
The commission adds that it is providing these workplace sessions, lasting about an hour, as part of its education role.
Areas covered can include budgeting, debt, saving, insurance, borrowing, retirement planning and pensions
Doireann Sweeney, of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, has been telling our reporter John Lynch about the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and how workplaces can register for its money-skills events.
