Yellow thunderstrorm warning issued for North West

A yellow thunderstorm warning has been issued for the North West.

All Connacht counties have been included in the warning, as well as Donegal, Longford and Cavan.

It comes into effect from 2pm and will be active until 9pm this evening.

Met Eireann is warning of the possibility of flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
