Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal have been included in a yellow weather warning for snow and ice.
Cavan has also been included in the warning issued by Met Eireann this morning.
The warning will be in place from 7pm this evening until 8am on Tuesday morning.
The forecaster is warning that snow could fall overnight, which could lead to poor visibility and hazardous driving conditions.

Meteorologist Brandon Creagh says the warning will particularly impact higher ground.
