Met Eireann has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for Irish coastal waters.
Strong gale force winds are expected along the coasts of Ireland today and into Monday morning.
The Coast Guard is advising the public that if they are near cliffs, piers or the waters edge in general, to be very careful especially along the Atlantic coast.
The advice from the Coast Guard is to 'Stay Back, Stay High and Stay Dry'

If you see someone in difficulty at sea or the shoreline, diall 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast guard.
